“He instalado un generador de pulso Pulstar en mi moto de 250cc y desde el principio noto mucha mejora en el par motor, estimo que ha conseguido un 20% más; las marchas muy suaves, rendimiento de 3l a los 100km sin problemas. Totalmente recomendables.“

I first saw Pulstar spark plugs advertised on TV. As a retired Fireman I recognized the difference in the combustion chamber explosion. That vision said “self you better buy those puppies”. As a cheap old guy the lifetime warranty spoke loudly.

Immediately I noticed  a difference in the RPM and the smoothness. The mileage increased by 2 miles per gallon. That may not sound like much but when running a Roush 342R at 450 hp and 420 ft lbs it’s allot.

But after 16000 mile they failed. Called and  got the OK to send them back. While waiting my mechanic put the NGK Platinum racing plug and the RPM dropped by 200+. While driving it waiting for a warranty result the mileage dropped and it idled rough.

Receiving the new set and while installing I broke one of the plugs. I can make an excuse about my headers and dip stick but it’s still my fault. Running now with 7 Pulstar plugs and 1 NGK the idle is back and running smooth. I’ve sent for another plug and awaiting it and then going to Lake Tahoe.

Hi my name is steven thompson and I ordered your plugs in oct 2012 and since then put about 80,000 hard miles on them since I traveled back and forth to Florida due to my grand mother passing. I would like a replacement set because these have worked and held up past my expectations. You guys have really made something that is incredible in all aspects of everything.  I have the DGLi plugs for my car. I am attaching a sheet for the payment I made for them online. Thank you for again making first my 2000 grand prix gt happy and now all my cars in the family. Dads 95 1500k has 345.668 on the dash and still runs like new with added life and power from you plugs. I can’t wait to get my next car and get a pair of these plugs for that. My grand prix has I think your ADi1 plugs and im on the second set of those and tell you I have over 300.000 on that car and it is going to my sister next month.

I recently purchased a set of your pulstar HE-1it for my 09 Harley FXDC Dyna.  I have noticed that the bike seems to be performing better.  My bike is all stock, no beefing up so to speak.  A friend of mine does not think it is good that I am running these plugs in my bike since it is all stock.  He seems to think it could harm the engine?  Now I’m not sure what to do?  Can you give me some advice on this matter?…

After putting the Autolite plugs back in the pinging and misfiring was back!  The Pulstars NEVER did this while using!  The HE1-IT’s are back in and will not be taken out ever again!  Thank you for a product that does what it promises!

Hi,
I bought a set of your plugs back in April from Auto Zone. I didn’t get to put them in right away, but I did finally, and today(Jul 3rd) found out my results,I have a 1997 S-10 4.3 L 4×4 auto. originally 16 mpg, then I put a Tornado from Auto Zone.It went 17 mpg. Well 2 weeks ago my wife filled it up, wrote the miles down. Today I did the same. 231.8 mi and 21.8 mpg. That is driving at a STEADY 50 mph. That is mostly highway driving. But it is still 4.8 more mpg, as good as the Toyota your advertising in Popular Mechanics!!!!!!!!!!! My dad told me over 40 yrs ago that, that could be done, putting a capacitor in a plug with these results. You proved him right. I’m from Eastern Ky. in the mountains.

I thank you severely.

We are extremely happy with our Enerpulse Pulstar plugs that we bought factory direct and are willing to put it in writing! We now have them in our ’07 Saturn Greenline Hybrid with the 2.4 VVT Engine and can honestly say we have dramatically increased our MPG. It has increased the mileage from an average of 29 mpg to over 34, an average increase of 20 percent. That figures to be about 3 gallons every fill at $2.50 @, or about $7.50 per tank full. That’s a reduction of 3 gallons of regular gasoline from our carbon footprint per tank!
Thanks!,

I saw the Pulse Plugs advertisements on various performance websites about a year ago. Of course I was very skeptical of this new “amazing” product. I went to Kragen (I live in northern California) and they had never heard of Pulstar plugs. About two months ago, I dropped by a Kragen to pick up new wiper blades for my girlfriend, and saw some pamphlets on these Pulstar plugs, and was surprised. My curiosity was sparked once again, but being backed by Kragen I decided I would try them out. A week ago an OEM plug went out on me so I replaced all four plugs with Pulstars. One was faulty, but I am now running 3 Pulstar plugs and one OEM plug on my ’08 Subaru Impreza. I am more than pleased. The defective plug will be replaced before this week is up, and with only 3 Pulstars, my gas mileage has jumped from an average of 22.1 (onboard computer) to 25.4. My car pulled very nicely before, and now the torque is almost scary high.. Just the way I like it. I can’t wait for the fourth plug to come in. Kragen has been amazing about replacing the one faulty plug (Quality Assurance won’t catch them all, no matter what the product) and these Pulse Plugs have been the key to my car’s amazing performance, allowing me to maximize the output on all of my performance modifications.
Thank you for this product!

Sincerely,

Hello pulse plug people; several months ago you sent me a free set of pulse plugs for installing them in my mini cooper/s jcw.(of which you had no data) i am elated with their preformance espically the quick responce from an already verry quick car. i am so impressed with your plugs that i just ordered a set for my daughters 2006 pt cruiser.

I just wanted to write a quick mail to give you some very positive feeback on your pulstar plugs.
I live in Sweden and own a Porsche 944 s2 3.0 from 1990.
For 8 months now I have been using Nology “hotwires” and their “silverstone” spark plugs. I did notice an improvement in torque and power from the origional set up on the car.
Recently I removed the hotwires and silverstone plugs. I fitted your pulstar plugs and the origional Beru ignition wires.
WOW! what a vast improvement! The car is much more “lively” gas pedal response is much “quicker”! The car seems to have much more torque and pulling power.
I shall now only use your product.

Please can you be so kind as to help me try and answer this question. At the moment I have a problem with my petrol gauge and odemeter so it is hard for me to measure any fuel savings.
Please have you any data as to how much the petrol saving is for my car in percent? and also if possible the torque and horsepower increase?. I am living in Sweden and it is impossible to find a “rolling” dynatune road where I can get these figures measured for my car. Have you any test data for Porsche?.

Thanks for you help in advance

Regards/Warren Hall

I just purchased a set of 6 plugs for my 2001 sport trac and had them installed. I can not tell you how pleased with the get up and go my truck now has. The throttle response is very quick, I can’t keep my heavy foot of the pedal. Thanks so much for offering these plugs, if I owned a store I would be promoting and selling them.

Again, thanks,

Bruce Sanders

Lou,

This past week, my daughter and I flew to Ft. Lauderdale to pick up her new 2001 Saab 95. It was a 2200 mile drive, broken into two segments. After the first 1100 miles, we were averaging about 28.5 MPG. At that time, I had an opportunity to install a set of be1p Pulstar Pulse Plugs. It took about 200 miles for the car to adjust to the Pulstars, but we ended up averaging 31.5 MPG on the second leg of the trip.

By the way, I went on a few Saab forums before we made the trip, and if I followed the advice of that bunch of jug-heads, I’d still be slopping along with those crappy NGK’s!

I am very pleased with the set of PULSTAR spark plugs that I have recently installed in my 2003 Cadillac CTS. Before the installation, the MPG indicator would show about 28-32 MPG over a very flat road with cruse control on and set at 45 MPH. After installing the PULSTAR plugs the MPG is now 36-38. In addition, the transmission shifting points are noticeable smoother. The original spark plugs were an OEM Bosch 4 type plug.

Well, this is getting scientific enough in comparison, I guess.

Latest numbers: I drove 244 miles with 90 percent in city driving.

I’m using five gallons of e85 to nine gallons of 87 octane.

Precisely, I used 14.335 gallons since last fill up. Same pump and filled to gurgling out the top to ensure it was filled. That’s 17.02 MPG. That’s with the AC on 80 percent of the time. EPA for city driving is only 18 MPG. I’m not driving in a manner that would promote conservation, that is, I’m not trying to improve my mileage.

My limited experience so far demonstrates that I’m improving my mileage 2-3 miles per gallon–so far. I bought my car new, and up through last summer I usually got around 14 miles per gallon in town, sometimes a little better. So while I can’t do a direct comparison with new factory plugs, I know that the improvement can’t be attributed to new versus old spark plugs. I don’t particularly like sounding like an infomercial, but my results are what they are. By now, I’m a little peeved by all of the unsubstantiated treatises that were written by self anointed “experts” describing how your pulse plug was basically a hoax and everyone should “save your money,

I just purchased 8 of your spark plugs, hesitant to believe all the claims. I had them installed in my 99 Lexus LX-470. I have no idea exactly the mileage change, but the second time I started and ran the vehicle I noticed the change. I own a 26-foot travel trailer and the Lexus has had to work to pull it. We hooked up the trailer and I immediately noticed the horsepower difference the first time I pulled out into the street with it! I no longer lag behind the pack when the light changes. Since then the computer has learned how the new plugs work and the performance difference and reduced fuel consumption is amazing! Thanks!

I installed a set of iridium plugs in my 2001 Toyota Tacoma double cab V6 with 135000 miles on the odometer. I have noticed a significant increase in power and my mileage increased from 21.5 to 22.7 as an average over 4 tanks of gas.

Thanks,
Mike

Hello,

I wanted to write in and say that I am very impressed with your product so far. I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GXP with the 5.3L V8. There has been a clear increase in horsepower and torque. The exhaust out of the Magnaflow Cat Back that I installed sounds more aggressive and the throttle response is faster. Thanks for the great product. Do you sell any apparel that I could purchase. I’ll be letting my friends know about the gains that I’ve had with the new plugs. Thanks,

Jason

Hello Lou! I am the Canadian guy who is patiently waiting for the 1600cc flat 4 VW Pulse Plugs to come about!

Actually.. I am writing to tell you I installed a set of your iridium Pulse Plugs in my Dad Jim’s 88 Ford F-150 302 V8 pickup last week and What a Difference!!! Wow! He is amazed & so am I at the difference! It is run mostly on natural gas as well as regular. So.. it runs like never before! Better bottom end pulling power! You just touch the pedal and there is no hesitation whatsoever. You used to have to feather & pump the pedal! It now has a dramatic increase in HP. Also … out the tailpipe is pretty much only steam. I can’t even smell the natural gas out of the pipe! It’s All being burnt! Can’t wait for the smog check results next year! I’m letting all my friends know! Been imagining what it would be like to see your Pulse Plugs in Nascar!!! What an advantage one car would have over another say NGK sponsored car .. perhaps another two laps +!? Anyways I’m just stoked!

Many thanks! Merry Christmas

Daniel

When I installed the Pulstar plugs in my 1973 Nova it gave my car much better performance. I can feel the difference in power from a dead stop to passing on the freeway. Excellent plugs.

I installed your plugs in my 1962 Toyota with a 350 corvette engine.

The best MPG I got before was 12.5. I just got 15 MPG using your plugs. I hope that continues. I will let you know.

It runs great. Seems to have a bit more power.

Best of all better MPG.

Thanks,
Ken Johnson.

INSTALLED! I CAN FEEL THE HORSEPOWER INCREASE! Power has definitely increased and the engine runs much smother from idle to 8000 rpm. I used to have an RF whine in my radio that I couldn’t get rid of. It’s gone. My 2000 Celica GT-S has never run better. With cruise control set at 100 MPH I got 38 miles to the gallon. I did this across southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and deep into Texas through 4 successive tanks of gas. Every time I stopped for gas I had a quarter of a tank left. I would add ten gallons of gas every time and then go about 380 miles. This used to be maximum range for 14 gallons. I simply could not believe I was getting that kind of mileage. Your plugs made all the difference as I have made this trip several times before. The only thing I did was change the plugs.

“The peaking capacitors duplicate the European method of suppression by shunting the noise to ground and eliminating any feedback RFI to the ECU.”

I need a sticker for my rear window… I hope you have something really geek for me to put on like:”1 Megawatt Per Cylinder.”

I did a little math: 4 sparks per revolution. 8000 revolutions per minute. 36,000 Megawatts per minute.

Dear Pulstar, I installed these plugs in my 1977 Lincoln MKV…this change was so remarkably positive and provided a much powerful more spirited performance that I just spread the work and let every know about Pulstar they are the greatest thing that ever happened to my Antique Vehicle…

I recently ordered a pair for my 1998 Lincoln MKIIIV…I am anticipating the thrill of the Pulstar once again…

Very truly your.
Mr. Scott C. Wadley

Greetings,

I’ve been very pleased with the pulstar plug. Can you tell me when I ordered them last? I went from 30 mpg to 34 mpg. For my 12 gallon tank, that’s the difference between 360 miles per tank and 408 miles per tank. I often got over 400 miles to a tank of gas. That is a savings at the pump of over a gallon of gas each fill up. Last year when gas went to $4.00 per gallon, these savings really paid off. Thanks so much.

Happy Trails,
Darlene Gunther

Hi Lou
Some feedback – The car I installed the plugs, 2001 VW Golf V5, Chipped, lowered etc. my bit of fun about 200 bhp in a small car. Recipe for fun. So far improved pick-up, more grunt and I have just had a day trip to London 245 mile round trip. Average motorway speed 80-90 mph (ups a little over our speed limit). combined trip including London traffic 29mpg I would have previously before the plugs got around 26mpg.
All in all a definite improvement over the original. Money well spent.

Regards Richard

I have purchased four sets of your plugs. By any chance did your company sell the “Swasser Ingition System” for Outboard motors. I purchase a set for a V6 Evinrude and work great!

Thanks,
Joe

Installed On: 2000 Chrysler concord 3.2 v6 90,000 miles.

20k miles ago I installed Bosch platinum plugs and the mileage was 20 city and 27 highway. I was thrilled. the mileage in the last month before replacing the Bosch with Pulstar was 18 city and 24 highway.

The day after installing my new Pulstar plugs we drove to Abilene TX a round trip of 410 miles. we got 35 mpg! when we returned to city driving my daughter (not a mpg driver) got 25 mpg over the next 3 weeks!

I’m replacing my 3 month old ngk platinum’s in my 2004 f150 supercrew this weekend. My way of fighting terrorism by not buying gasoline!

I have a Chrysler Pacifica 2007, Touring model with a 4.0 Litre engine, Mileage 37500, I have just installed your pulse iridiium spark plugs and I ran a 2000 mile trip, (holiday loaded) and same trip compared from previous trips. I found the following data: all confirmed with an onboard computer plus manual gas gals calculations. I found that the engine response was fantastic at low torque and at high torque, the fuel cunsumption went from ave 22.5 MPG to 25 MPG the engine ran cooler and smoother.Obviously the spark plugs did not need changing but as I am a retired Aviation engineer your pulse plugs made sense to me for complete combustion and I will admit that they have prooved that they do work, Thank You at last I achieved what I wanted and your product works. I was considering changing my vehicle previously but not now.

Mr.Louis Camilli

I thank you for the opportunity to experience the wonderful new power in my 2007 BMW 750i. After installing your Pulstar spark plugs I drove my car and wow what a difference I experienced a great amount of new power so much more power from a stand still start that I couldn’t believe it. Also the idle was greatly improved so much smother. It felt like I had installed a performance engine. I informed all of my club members of the results and all members said they too would purchase Pulstar plugs for their cars. Again THANK YOU.

Blair A Fritz III

I am a tech and you have made my 01 ford focus with a 2.0l sohc engine run like a v6 i now get close to 400 miles on a tank of gas it use to get 320 miles a tank wow! It definitely has alot more top end thank you so much. Also as far as undoing the battery you also can clear readyness monitors to reset computer to the new pulse plugs on newer vehicals. Helpful hint!

My 03 silverado quadrasteer has only 49’000 miles on it. I bought the recommended plugs along with msd 8.5mm wires and a Volant cold air intake with power core filter. The truck ran great before and is a real beast now. I will have to keep an eye on the gas mileage. The torque increase was noticeable immediately.

I installed 6 Pulstar dg1i plugs in my 2006 Nissan 350Z . The car roared back to life. I had 38000 miles running ngk R’s and wanted a performance plug to go with the other mod’s on car. I have berk high flow cats, Bassani dual exhaust, K&N typhoon intake , Royal Purple oils, Lucas super coolant and Pulstar pulse plugs. I am so pleased with your product that I’m requesting Posters and decals for the Man Cave. I would like for all that enter my garage know i support your fine product. Kudos and keep up the great work.

From the day I purchased my 2005 300C it has stumbled during full throttle acceleration at every shift points. At 130,000 miles I just installed Purlstar plugs and found that the stumble is gone andacceleration is much better. I only have 130 miles so I haven’t checked the mileage yet, but expect it to improve.

I hope you guys get this email. I put the plugs in my 1985 Harley with a bone stock engine except for the carb which I have had for years, and man, these puppies are HOT!!

I have soooo much more throttle response and torque, its unbelievable. I believe, although I dont actually check this aaccurately, I get way more miles out of a tank of gas than I did before. When tooling along the slab at 70, it is soo easy to pass a car and quick also, the increase in response, horesepower, and torque at that speed was never there before I put in these plugs.

I wanted to wait til I had many miles on the bike with these puppies before I gave you a report. Man, why dont you market these to bikers. We are always trying to squeek more power out of our bikes. Most shops have Dynomometers which can show the improvements. Put adds in the HARLEY biker mags, dont wast time with the others because they are not intersted in more power.

Also, get dealers. There are tons of shops in the Pacific NW I know would be good dealers. SoCal is another place with tons of shops which could be dealers.

Sorry for going on about this. Thanks for the plugs and thanks for making my old, stock bike perform like a young souped up kid.

John Fruehling

Hi Lou,

I’ve got word that the Pulse Star plugs are being tested on the Azman’s Chief & he reports that he could feel the improvements right off.. I’ll be in touch ASAP upon receiving his info.

As well, I’ve had my 1st run with the Pulse Stars on my own Chief ,…19 bikes, 115 miles each way & many start stops plus head winds & cross winds. I got 45 mpg (imperial) /38 mpg (US) & I never saw another ride at the pumps (only 9 bikes then) take less fuel than I did. I friend with a 900 Honda (almost 1/2 the displacement of the Chief PP 100) took $0.70 more than I so I’m quite happy with the mileage.

I have a smoother running V Twin for sure & noticeably less vibrations over 70 mph. If you recall Michelle Rock also reported this.

I made some changes with my air filter & changed carbs prior to testing & therefore I can’t really compare the seat of the pants increase in torque & hp. So I’ll take the stock plugs with me next trip & I’ll switch them back & forth & then update.

Anthony Moto has tried the Pulse Stars on his test stand only & has nothing to report . I may get those to another for the data.

I especially wanted to test the Pulse Stars in the Joe Malpha’d Chief with the upgraded center fire plug option that he offers to improves mileage & performance.

Unfortunately the thread size is 12mm & the Pulse Stars are 14mm. That would have been a good test.

I was looking for comparable results with Pulse Stars in the stock offset location to the improved center fire location . $50 for the Pulse Stars would be a lot cheaper than the teardown & machining for sure.

I’ll keep in touch.

Thanks,
John

When I heard from a friend last year about a new and exciting technology that would help save fuel while increasing torque and horsepower in a car or motorcycle, I first started laughing. Particularly when he referred to a new and revolutionary type of spark plug that’s already available in the market, I become very skeptical.

Why the heck should I not already have the best spark plugs in my Harley-Davidson VROD, the fastest cruiser on earth with an engine from Porsche Engineering?

Well, it must have been my friend’s ability and personal experience with Pulstar Plugs in his own vehicles and my never ending curiosity that caused me to check them out in my VROD.

So, I got myself a set of Pulstar he1it plugs and had them installed by a technician at the Harley-Davidson Dealership in Naples, FL. When I picked up my bike, I was still very concerned and the first question to the technician was if he had experienced any trouble during the installation or noticed any unusual noise. “I noticed immediately that the engine is now running much smoother than with the original plugs. This is really interesting! Let me know how it goes.” he responded.

When I then got on my bike, wow, what a difference! Yeah, the technician was right! From the very first moment I started the engine, I felt and heard a big difference. Less vibrations and a smoother running engine! That was great! But now, let’s check if there is any difference in performance. What I experienced then during the first few miles was just mind-blowing. Acceleration has always been great and fully satisfactory, but with Pulstar, it even kicked it up a notch! Oh my god, what a feeling! The slightest movement on the throttle, and it would react immediately and without any delay! It just wants you to go and go further and further. Folks, this is really dangerous for riders without good discipline. You need to push yourself really hard and get back to regular driving habits if you don’t want to get into trouble with the people dressed in black uniforms.

Now, I love my VROD even more and would never ever exchange the Pulstar plugs for any other technology again. Thanks so much to my friend and the genius inventor of this great technology!

Hi! I’d like to tell you that your plugs do what you say they will do…I just had work done to my bike a 2003 Ultra Classic, the dyno runs came out with 104HP and 107 torque…after I put in your plugs and ran the dyno again it cam out with 110 HP and 113 torque. That’s a 6HP gain and 6 torque gain, outstanding just changing the plugs…keep up the good work!

Thanks Again
Ron Direnzo
P.S. I ordered more plugs for my other bikes.

After installing the plugs (two per cylinder) I rode for about 200 miles. The transformation was simply remarkable – no misses at any load and rpm, no hesitation, improved response and power (seat-of-the-pants), improved smoothness, and no surging at all (my GS never did surge with the stock plugs). Fuel mileage seems to be improved as well, but needs more time for testing. The only open item will be the duration of these plugs in a horizontally opposed twin that tends to vibrate, although the motor runs much smoother than before at all rpms.

By the way, after measuring the gap on a stock plug, I set the plug gap at 0.032″ which works very well (BMW does not spec a gap on the stock plug, at least the service techs that I asked could not find any gap information). This gap also collaborates with other sources for BMW engines.

Although you do not spec plugs for the R1200 engine, I highly recommend using the Pulstar he1it Iridium in BMW bikes that use this motor. While you may not be able to officially endorse my recommendation, other BMW owners should benefit by using Pulstar plugs and need to know.

Thank you for developing a great product that works.

I have been riding and racing motorcycles for 50 years and currently perform most of my own service on my 2008 BMW R1200 GS.Through an error on my part I went directly to the Powersports section of your online product offering but ordered the wrong plugs (be1it Iridium 14 mm) and returned them for a replacement (he1it Iridium 12mm).Through this process I found out that you do not spec plugs for my GS since, I guess, the R1200 engines use a dual-electrode plug which you do not offer although the heat range is basically OK. You graceously replaced the plugs that I originally ordered with the correct size even though you do not spec them for my bike. Now, here’s the good part. I installed your plugs in my OMC 3.0L boat engine. Previously, the engine would max out at 4100 rpms. Now the engine maxes out at 4500 rpms.

I can’t speak for increased fuel economy, but it sure looks like horse power is up. The 9.1% increase in rpms speaks for itself.

Hi Jim,

I just wanted to say thank you for sponsoring me with your product, it has made a huge difference in my motor’s performance. Since I started using your spark plugs, I have noticed that I am burning less gas, my motor is running smoother and there is also an increase in power! The motor seems to start a lot easier as well. As you know, I broke a PPG world record over the weekend and have to say that having used your plugs definitely helped. I needed all the power I could get flying with all of that extra weight! I am very happy and have nothing but good things to say about your product. In addition to a great product, your customer service is awesome! When I needed a new set of plugs right away, you had them in the mail to me within hours! Thanks very much for all of your help and support.

Thanks
